We will once again be participating in Long Island’s Pride Parade in Huntington Sunday, June 9. Join us in showing LGBTQ+ pride and allyship! Last year was great fun. The Episcopal Church welcomes you!
This year, we will be hosting a Eucharist at 10am in the parade lineup area next to the Cathedral bus (so you don’t have to miss church, and so we can welcome other parade participants and attendees). Volunteers to assist with the setup and service are welcome. The parade itself steps off at noon; you can march with us or ride the bus. After the parade, Frs. Dan and Mark have graciously invited us to lunch at their home nearby.
Our bus will be leaving the cathedral at 9am. Car pools are a good idea, since there is limited parking near the parade route, and we encourage coming early, because once streets are closed for the parade, it can be difficult to navigate. Please sign up here so we know how many to expect and can provide you details and updates. We look forward to seeing you there!
