New Cathedral Outreach
Saturday evenings at 5pm, welcome the sabbath with candle lighting and Mass, using ancient contemplative and monastic traditions, prayer, song, symbols and senses from the resources of both the western and eastern church. A light meal will follow each week, families encouraged to attend. We are looking for mission minded people to help form the initial congregation. Please see the vicars for more information: Fr. Basic Christian Formation Program
The cathedral will offer an intensive course to engage questions of faith from a Christian perspective in the Anglican tradition. It will provide you with opportunities to form relationships with fellow explorers on the same journey. It will also help prepare you for baptism, Confirmation, or Reception in the Episcopal Church, or if you want to begin again in deepening your faith. Please join us Saturday afternoons at 3:30pm starting January 20 and concluding Saturday March 23 at The Incarnation Chapel (252 Rushmore Ave. Carle Place), followed by the 5pm Eucharist and a light meal.
