Parents’ Circle is for all parents and caregivers who are interested in exploring how faith informs our parenting and family life. This season we will gather for learning and discussion centered on Faith and Sexuality: discussing sexual discovery, healthy relationships, and gender with young people. While conversations surrounding sexuality are often geared towards parents of teens, those with younger children are invited to join in as well. Speaking with your children about consent, bodily autonomy, and healthy relationships should be done early and often. Rather than saving up all these topics for "The Talk," we will discuss how to have an ongoing conversation with our children that is appropriate for every age and stage. Whether you are the caregiver of young children or teens, these conversations are for you. These conversations are expressly affirming of LGBTQ+ love, identity, and community.
Our first two sessions of the season on Talking With Your Kids about Faith & Sexuality will meet on March 8 and March 22. 7:15- 8:45 PM via Zoom.
Registration is now open on Realm. Parents’ Circle is free, but registration is required. Spaces are limited, so please register soon.
