Welcome Father Cameron Walker

The Dean and Chapter are pleased to introduce Fr. Cameron Walker as our newest curate. A 2024 graduate of Nashotah House Theological Seminary, Fr. Cam was ordained in September by the Rt. Rev. Lawrence C. Provenzano and took up his curacy here last week. Previously, he worked at St. John's Episcopal Church in Detroit as a Programs Associate and at the Washington National Cathedral as a Programs Intern.

In the coming weeks, Fr. Cam will shadow clergy and staff, focusing on liturgy and pastoral care. During a curacy, a newly ordained priest continues to build on the skills learned in seminary and during his/her field placement. It's a wonderful opportunity for Fr. Cam to share his gifts and excitement with the cathedral community, and for us to rely on him for enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and support.

A Michigan native, Fr. Cam enjoys water activities, traveling, cooking, gardening, and collecting the works of early Twentieth Century Detroit-area painters.
