What
Incarnation Chapel is a ministry of the Cathedral of the Incarnation. An intergenerational community celebrating evening Eucharist welcoming the sabbath, followed by a simple meal, inviting full participation of the congregation in prayer and song from the resources of both the Western and Eastern Church. We also emphasize adult Christian Formation, discipleship, and education in collaboration with the Cathedral and other deanery congregations.
When
Saturday evenings, 5:00pm starting January 6, 2024
Where
252 Rushmore Ave., Carle Place (Old St. Mary’s) in the flexible space of the parish hall, called “the ark”
Why
An alternative time to Sunday mornings. Worshipers can have space to experience Jesus and grow as disciples without the busyness that can distract us.
Who
Those seeking a new experience of faith, or Christians who wish to come for an evening or a time in addition to their congregation. Actively seeking core members willing to help plant this new community and commit to being with us for a season.

Revelation: Resistance and Hope for its time – and ours
Two Wednesdays, November 13 and 20, 7-8pm
The Revelation to John seems puzzling to modern readers, its bizarre scenes and images right out of a wild fantasy film, often the stuff of weird interpretations. Yet Revelation doesn’t give us a mysterious decoder ring to the future or the present. Rather, if we understand it in its original context, we can garner wisdom and courage for our lives today.
Join us as we explore the literary genre, the use of hidden symbolism, the challenge to resist the forces that lure us from God's way of love, and the ultimate victory Jesus assures us.
Thanksgiving at the Incarnation Chapel
Join us for the Cathedral’s celebration of Thanksgiving at the Incarnation Chapel (252 Rushmore St., Carle Place) on Wednesday, November 27 at 7pm. Special music from the American tradition, Fr. Landon Moore is our preacher.
